Every business has a biodiversity footprint. Whether by disturbing local species, causing deforestation or overusing natural resources, the World Economic Forum predicts that businesses’ impact on nature could eventually cost more than half the global gross domestic product. As such, loss of biodiversity presents a material risk for businesses that must be addressed for their continued operation.
To support companies in how they preserve biodiversity, this Sustainability Leaders’ working group will explore the following through a series of activities:
